Basically a lot of what you are seeing are the marketing tactics of people trying to sell ya something. Some of them have figured out how to set up their email to get around the filter. I have noticed that a lot of people have changed their email year dates to 2038 and so forth so that their email will sit in the top of the spam folder list. What good is that anyway if I am only going to delete it without reading it?
Spam is meant to make your Eye's spin in your Eye sockets. . . Sorry couldn't help myself. . . .
Think of Spam as the internet verion of a telemarketer. . . .
Spam is a processed meat that in not perrishable and if it must be consumed, it should only be done during starvation.

What's the point of spam?
I'm so sick of my "spam-box" filling up in my email account. I mean, the filter is great and I never have to look at this crap...but once in a while it manages to get past the filter and into my inbox. The subject is always something ridiculous (and usually spelled wrong). What is the point? Do the "spammers" behind this really think people will fall for these things?
