What are the bad things about contacts?

I want to get colored contact lenses... will they effect my eyes in any way?

no. I had them but I have perfect vision so when I wud put them in they made things a little blurry 4 me. I just took them out wenever I playd sports

if you get a big color change, the color in the contact is opaque, and it can obscure your vision in low light conditions. it's kind of annoying, but not terrible.

My boyfriend just got contacts and she said the yhurt a little at first and she needed help taking them out but sooner or later you'll probly get used to them.

well, colored contacts do block your vision, cause as chippo has said they're opaque!! - but it dosen't mean you'll be seeing things in a different shade of color!! =P but my optomitrist has said it rasies my degree in vision much quicker than clear contacts, as well as clear contacts are more breathable than colored ones!! - so colored ones can easily make your eyes feel more dry quicker than clear ones!! that's why it's better if you only use them for special events, or take them off as soon as you get home! but heck... they're not that bad... and I'm not trying to tell you not to buy them... cause heck... I was telling you what colors to get earler!! and lol... I got a set of colored contacts today.. along with clear ones, so I can alternate =)
