Have you looked up the personality of those breeds? They do have some programs that will help you match a breed to your personality as well. From what I am see you seem to want a lapdog. Honestly I don't really like lapdogs that much, though I will admit pugs aren't that bad. If you need something more energetic, try a pug/beagle (see puggle) mix. That is what I have. Most lovable dog in the world, she runs me into the ground too.
Considering the variety of the breeds that interest you...(and by variety, I mean from a tiny companion type Chi, to the fiesty, yet happy Yorkie...to a Bull Terrier, which can really give you a run for your money...I say fish.
...or study up on the breeds and see which fits your lifestyle best (looks don't count)

puppies are such hard work!!1 I mean really.
they cry, pee bark chew and eat all sorts of things! you ahve to train them which takes month, toilet train them which can take up to 6 month or a year.
puppies are cute. I ahve 2 dogs and I was like you wanting a puppy and both mine have been hard work. they both followed me everywhere one took 1 yr to toilet train. they both have chewed items, shoes and furnature in my house. I've had to change my garden as they dag chewed everythin in there. now one is an adult hes the best because I stuck at it and trainied him but my puppy even now at 6 moths old cries through the night!
why dont you save a dog thats stuck in a shelter with nobody to love him/her. it will already be trained now chewing! you get a loyal dog but wth out the peeing!!!
adopt a dog please!!!
toi many dogs are being killed in shelters. rehome one x
yeah I no but the reason why a dont wanna adopt is because he/she wont be my dog, I dont know if there gonna turn round and bite me, like my cat I know exaclty when he's pissed off and is gonna turn round and bite me or that, I wouldnt know that with a dog, so if I have a puppy ill learn about them.. yi know? x
suppose..
we got puppies so we can raise them and trust them, so when we have children we know what they will b like.
but I would just have a look round a shelter home. you normally get their backround and they tell you their temperment. some cases are their owners have died or had kids and couldnt handle them. you might even get a puppy!
when I went to a dog home they know a lot about they dogs as they have to to re home them, pus you can walk them even have a trial with them.
