What painkillers have codeine in it?

anyone know any brands I can buy over the counter in england?

Tylenol PM. I don't know if this brand is known in England. Be careful I know in my case I am allergic to codeine. It makes my heart race and my whole body feel like my blood is rushing too fast through my veins.

Why do you need codeine? I just read it could be used by opiate addicted people. I understand some cough medicines contain codeine. Maybe ask a pharmacist.

yeah codiene comes from opium/herion, there's no need to worry about him getting addicted though.
he's only got 3-6 mths to live, so I just want to help it be pain free.

I am sorry geriann I wish I could help you guys more but I don't know about that medicine. It's not familiar to me here in the United States. Maybe the pharmacist can tell you. We have a pretty open system where our pharmacist can tell you that kind of stuff about over the counter items. Hope you and your fiance feel better soon. Pray for a miracle.
