What kind of mutt?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what my dog may be mixed with. My fiance and I found her the night we got engaged and kept her. She is a wonderful pup, with a lot of energy, and trains very quickly.

Yup, I would say weiner dog (Dachshund) mixed with some sort of terrier. Maybe even some Welsh Corgi.

Her head is shaped like a Jack Russell or a Fox Terrier...and when you say 'energetic'...both those terriers are VERY high energy, and very smart...She may have more than two breeds in her, but definately there's JRT or Fox Terrier in her...

How much does she weigh? It maybe miniture Fox Terrier, if she's under 15 lbs.

Try taking her to the vet and they can take a blood test to find out wha kind of dog she is.

I agree with phrannie, in the sense that she has some JRT or Fox terrier in her, but her coat colour may have come from a lab, and her slender build from a smaller dog, maybe from a chihuahua, but I'm not sure.

How old is she in this picture and how tall(at the shoulder) is she?

In that picture she is about 7/8 months, I'm not sure how tall she was at the shoulder, but she wore a medium in dog clothes. Now she's about 11/12 months and she wears a large, and her chest and shoulders have gotten more broad. I was actually thinking a lab and greyhound mix. Greyhound because of her large eyes, and a lab because of her color, temperment and take to water. She loves the stuff.
