What is the point of having eyelashes?

I was just wondering what is the point of some parts of your body and you dont use your eyebrows or your eyelashes for anything so why have we got them?

eyebrows and eyelashes help protect the eyes. they keep like a lot of the dirt and stuff from falling in out eyes. uh don't quote me on that. plus, they look good.

Eyelashes to protect our eyes exposed to dust and other particles from the air, or blown into our eyes. I'm not so sure about the eyebrows.

My theory about eyebrows is that our faces from above the eyes to your hairline would look bare without them. Maybe God put them on to accentuate our eyes?
