Hate or even indifference..
Love is an intense passion..so is hate..
I guess the opposite of that would be indifference..

'Indifference' is when you don't care, but I don't think it's the opposite of 'love'; I think 'detest' is.

I know that Indifference is to not care, I just mean that when you love someone you are filled with such intense emotion..When you hate someone you are also filled with such intense emotion, I just think the opposite of that would be indifference..

That's the problem with saying 'hate' is the opposite, they share a common trait... passion. Having such a commonality, means they're not opposites.

I was saying it in a dictionary sort of way, if you know what I mean... Like, 'love' and 'detest', 'concerned' and 'indifferent', and 'passion' and 'apathy'.

I don't think it's hate, but to argue that it can't be hate because of equal intensity I think is slighty illogical. I mean, boiling and freezing -- those are opposites but they both hurt like hell.
