ok there is this song I have been hearing at work lately and I remember hearing on the radio back in the early-mid 90s maybe late..I dunno back when people listened to the radio it sound like and alternative band I guess?

so anyways the song starts of...

and it sounds like a scraping noise
and there is a guy he sings softly and says something I think about a couch
something comes
and there is a chorus with some guy who sounds like he's jamaican
the chorus to me sounds like:
been in a hall today
everybody thinks!
there is a piano solo in the middle of the song
and at/ towards the end of the song there are church bells in the back round.
some one pleaaasse help me find the name of this song its driving me nuts!
