Second Chance by Shinedown?

I really think it just means that maybe the only way to really start over in a relationship is to say goodbye, and instead of trying to force things to work out, just to let it come together by itself.

I have taken it to mean that starting over is a second chance. Leaving the past and starting fresh means you can be whoever you want to be.

Well specifically I think it means that when love has came between ( the people love came between ) there is always a second chance in life to have another love with that one person and that when saying goodbye to your love it can give you second chances to stay or get back with them.

If you mean the one by Shinedown, it's just called Second Chance. I think the meaning of that song would be about never giving up. You know, never forget that there's always going to be a second chance. Goodbye might not last forever, it can open up new chances for the 2 people to maybe work things out in the furture.
