What is the best way to study?

SHINING GHOST Asked by activehaman 5 months ago, 6 answers.

I love learning. I learn whatever I have in front of me. But I forget so easily. And I don't like it absolutely. So want to know.

Different people learn different ways. Personally, I learn best by writing things out that I need to remember.

For you, the best way would be to read over matierial for awhile... about 30 minutes. Make flash cards of what you read, and what you are wanting to remember... test yourself within those 30 minutes, and then take a break. After a 15 minute break, come back and repeat what you did before. Taking breaks, and not studying too long will help keep you focused, and help you remember what you are studying!!

All the above, or Mind Map your notes intstead of writing them in the traditional way (you can Google that or ask me more if you don't know what it is).

There are so many ways of learning things and like what stephanief987 said, different people learn in different ways.
Personally, I learn by writing down everything, sometimes making it colourful so it is easy to look back on and remiond myself of the things I may have forgotten.

I enjoy having a conversation with somebody about what I just learned that way it is easier to remeber. Or making summary notes
