Is my ear piercing infected? Please HELPME!?

It depends. If it is pussing and what not, then yes it is very infected. I know this because I am allergic to nickel and if I wear nickel/silver in my ears they get infected. If you recently pierced them it could just be because they are irritated, or because you just put a hole through your ear. Make sure to wash it and maybe go to a piercing store and pick up some cleanser. I suggest finding a way to go a professional, it’s very dangerous to pierce yourself.

It most likely is,, what I would suggest is to get a cotton bud, and dab tea-tree oil, or eucalyptys oil on it, then next time you go to the shops (without your mum there) just casually ask a place that does piercings (like Cosmetics Plus) what to do from there.

do you have iodine? well they come in little bottles lol I have some in my medicine cabinet…well anywho! put some of it the over the hole =] worked for me because that kills any infection in there ^.^ and the redness and hurting is normal usually

Well, it depends .. Does stuff come out of it ? Is it all swollen ? Does it hurt real bad ? I got this before, but re-pierced it recently .. I advice you to wash it with Dettol or Iodine or any anti-septic liquid or cream so that it kills all the bacteria there (twice a day) . but the worst thing to do is to open the earing. So continue washing it and taking care of it. But if it doesn’t get any better, you should ask for advise from a professional piercer. Hope this helped . xx

yes, its infected. I got my cartilage gauged (10) and I took it out to change it and it did the same thing. they rushed me to the hospital because it started bleeding and they said I could have lost my ear. Now I have hearing loss from it. GO TO THE DOCTERS OR URGENT CARE
