its connected in a certain sense. the purpose of your sex drive is to share it with someone you love and recreate. people can be in love and not have sex, it is just more of an intense intimate way of communicating it. you dont have to have sex to say I love you, that is just one of many ways. what brings this question about if you dont mind me asking?

I think sex is just an urge to reproduce. All animals have some need to make life. But having sex to make babies or to just to cum is different than having sex to express your love. Sometimes love is so strong that it can't be put into words and the best way a person can think to express their feelings to their loved one is by the convergence of two souls into one. The intermingling of two people with the sole purpose of conveying ones love for the other can be better than any orgasm physically possible. Sex is the same with everyone but the passion of love making between two soulmates is what makes it magical.
