What is high school like?

Ok next year ill being going to high school. So what is it like? Is it really hard? Any tips on how to survive high school?

it's pretty much the same just a little harder than middle school and of course you'll be a freshman so that kinda stinks unless you got some senior friends already... just try not to make too many enemies

High School is different for everyone. One thing you can count on though is harder work. I found that all the high school cliques and popularity contests were over and everyone hung out with everyone.
You can reinvent yourself in high school. I did.

high school is whatever you make of it. I went to catholic middle school and highschool so I thought the highschool work was easier because the teachers were way more laid back. it really depends on the school though. and if I can give you any advice, get as involved in as many things as you can. it might sound corny now but if you don't then you will regret it later in life, I know I do. dont miss anything like homecomming, prom, any other things your school does. highschool can either be the best time of your life or the worst depending on what you do. I just know for me if I could go back and change one thing about my life I would have gotten more involved in clubs, activities, school dances. I regret it all now and theres no going back.

Hey...high skwl is really fun and da partys are great 1st day is little scary but hey when you got new fwends is a blast...the work is ok I guess ooo and the guys WOW the hot...anyway just try get as many friends possible and beware of peer presure TRUST ME...Im a virgin but many call me a slut due to my nawty fwends

High School can be the best, worst, boring, or even neutral time of your life. I say the most important thing is to balance academics with extracurricualars, and social time. If you have a record of being academically responsible, get ready to take it to the nest level. Don't expect to survive on Middle School habits.

ACADEMICS - The best thing to do is try to get things done early. It's okay to think about college as a freshman. If you start looking and feeling out what you want to do in life, you will have a head start and probably remain motivated.

SCHOOL CLUBS ORGANIZATIONS - Take an active role in things like student government, ir any other club which has leadership possiblities. This will challenge your skills and develop you as a leader...there is always something new to learn.

SOCIAL - Even though you should consistently focus, make time for high school fun as well. Keep away from activities and parties that will draw you farther away from your goals. It's okay to have fun, but you don't have to be a rebel for the sake of trying to fit in. So stay on the good side of the tracks because in the end it will get you further.
