German shepherds are one of the most likely breeds to develop hip dysplasia and it sounds like this may be what is happening. Take her to the vet to get checked out immediately, she might be in a lot of pain. Hope things go ok!
you take her to a vet, how long was the family gone, why did they not board her? Did someone poison her? does she have lyme Disese, is it her hips? so many questions and things it could be, if the family cares then they should really take this dog to the vet, she is considered Geriatric at this age and could have many things wrong
because you left her alone - you will never know what happened to that poor baby. would you leave a 2 year old home alone with plenty of food and water? should be your hips not the dogs.
OK. The trip was only a 3 day weekend trip and my dad didn't go so he stayed home and nobody is payed to walk the dog so I do all the walking. Sence I live in the countryside on 5 acers and she is located in the middel of it and she is on a run. She ralley barks so no naboors have a motive do do harm.
