What is going on with my webcam?

What is going on with my webcam? I have a mac laptop and when I open Photo Booth it says that my camera is enabled and there is nothing blocking it, but on the screen, it comes up green! It won't show me even though I am right in front of it? What is going on here and how can I fix this?

I have that sometimes too.
Just restart your laptop and everything should be fine

Try turning it off then back on again. If this doesn't work, I don't know what to do!

Make sure you also have the latest updates installed on your Mac. For Mac's running Tiger, its Update 10.4.11, and for Leopard its 10.5.1. Also for Macbooks/Macbook Pro's there is a firmware update which addresses some issues (the webcam might be one). Just go to Software Update (from the Apple in the top-left corner) and make sure there's no new updates for your computer.

If it still has problems, let us know and we'll see what we can try next.
