well it wometimes lasts onger than that. mine and my sisters lasts 7 days, it just runs and the family. ask your mother about it, and see if it could get to be normal for you

Birth control causes you to be irreagular for awhile because your body doesn't quite know what's going on yet. You're doing something to your body that isn't natural and it's still trying to get used to it. Give it a few months.
