Q: what is Eddie Walkers disability In the movie true Confessions?

they said it was a mental disability that would make him act like a child forever. before that I thought it was autism, please tell me if I'm wrong they never mentioned the disability, could someone please tell me or at least explain.

It doesn't have to be a specific type, just a general slowness that made Eddie unable to mature at the pace of someone his age. This would make him childish, without naming a specific type of retardation.
