Speak to your doctor. My doctor said there is no rule saying you have to get your period every month, but ther could be other problems there that you are not aware of. Have you had a pap test recently? Go speak with your doctor.

Hi there,

I am a doctor and it is normal for a girl to miss periods especially if you are young. Your body sees your reproductive tract as a not necessary action. This means, instead of putting its energy into readying itself to be pregnant, it will concentrate on other things if it senses there need some attention. This condition is called Amenorrhea and simply means missed period. If you have started any new sports, lost weight, gained weight or went through any type of significant stress (moving, new school etc) - this is sufficient enough to stop your periods.
