What is abortion?

OK what is an abortion? I'm so lost but people keep saying to people on here that say they are preagnat to get an abortion or not to get one... But what is it?

Abortion is the termination of the woman's pregnancy. The fetus is removed from the womb.

How do they do that?

Oh my dear, abortion is the most awful torture that an innocent baby could possibly be put through. The proceedure is so horrific that I cannot stand to go into details. Just know this; the baby suffers tramendous pain and fear before it's taken out in pieces.

OMG thats just wrong! I was thinking it was something more like a c-section... I was just readin gon the internet that most abprions are due to miscarrages though so I guess in that way its not as bad ...
