What is a virgin?

Im confussed in all this sex , mary thing,

They say marys a virgin
Well dosent virgin mean that you havent had sex?
So why do they call mary a virgin?

And if virgin dont mean that what dose it mean?

What they're trying to say by that's is that jesus was a miracle baby that mary was a virgin that I guess god wanted her to get pregnant but keep her a virgin. Now I'm not completely sure but you could read the bible and find out lol

Ok, well they call her the Virgin Mary because she did not engage in sexual activity for the to be pregnant with Jesus, I would consider you read in the bible for the full details or ask your local church, lol. :]

a virgin is someone who hasnt had sex and the reason that they call mary a virgin is caus she got pregnant through the holy spirit and not by ,well havin sex if you have any more questions than just ask a christian preacher only!
