What is a good weight for a dancer?

I was bored and thinking Asked by dancer003 about 1 year ago, 2 answers.

What is a good weight for a dancer that is 5'4? Thanks for your help!

it depends on what type of dance you are in. im thinking anywhere from 110-150. for something like ballet you would prob need to be small like 110. in hiphop they like curvy thicker girls (with small waist) so you can get away with the 150. everything else is in between

dancing requires a lot of muscle.
in your core and legs and arms.
I am 5'5 and have been dancing since I was six. I weight 125 and look great. haha. if you weigh 110 and you are 5'4 id say go up about 5-10 pounds.
remember MUSCLE WIEGHS MORE THAN FAT.
so get that muscle going haha
