What is a good job for a young vet.

Asked by junito about 1 year ago, 5 answers.

I will be 21 when I get out of the Navy, I still have a year to go, I hate my job in the navy, which is pretty much like working at the post office, and I have a lot of tattoos, hands, arms, neck, etc. I am very free spirited and plan on going to college...

when I get out, does any one know a suitable job for some one like myself?

Why dont you just retrain and get a different job. You could work in the medical field. I work in Medical Records at Robins AFB in GA. I am not in the military, but I have seen so many young people mess up their lives by getting out too early.
Think about this choice long and hard before proceeding.
Good luck.

I am 110 percent getting out, there is no doubt about it, retrain or staying in is not an option, I've seen too much that I disagree with morally, I just need outside opinions on jobs that will hire kids out of the military who are going to school, and who are also have excessive tattoos

I am only 20, and I was hired here right out of high school. You will probably need to look on a website like USAJOBS.GOV to find anything decent.
And just so you know, you are always going to morally disagree with something. It doesnt matter where you go or what you do. Again, good luck.

I think you have been taking orders to long why not try being your own boss? I started my own company at the age of 17 and never looked back. I was able to retire at a early age and now devote my time to helping as many people I can achieve the same success. I am always available to answer your questions and help in anyway I can. You are at the perfect age to get started. Don't waste your life away working for someone else.
