Military speaking a FOB is a (Forward Operating Base) But I dont know if that is the context you mean it in.

A FOB is something that the military has in an area they use as a temporary base to conduct all opperations out of.

A fop is a man that cares way too much about how he looks.

But I am in my 50s and don't think those words are used much today...
