What is 2012?

I may be a bit slow on the uptake but what is 2012? Like whats going to happen? Also how can anyone say that 2012 is the end of everything? Numbers were created by people to measure and document time, did someone just randomly predict it or is it in the...

no, it is said that the world is going to end in 2012 because the mayans predicted it,.. it comes from way way wayyy... back in time so it kind of is related to some religous stuff, but yes I belive it. (kinda) but anyways yeh the mayans predicted way long ago that the world is going to end in 2012. I hope this helps a little.

Its the end of the Mian calender or something like that (on 21 December 2012)...Which means that the Mian's only made calenders til that date.And cause they only made calenders til that date, they thought that it will be the end of the world then cause can you imagine a world without any dates?Lol but yeah there are a lot of stories circling about that around the internet...One of them is that (it also says so in the bible, but I mean in my opinion I think that that is only gonna happen when the anti christ is on earth) planet X (or aka planet wormwood or Nuburu or something like that, dunno if that is right but I know its something with an N) is like gonna collide with the earth and then then all most of the people are gonna be killed and the few that survive will like have it really hard here and all of the water on earth is gonna turn bitter and canines are gonna start eating human corpses and then once they get the taste for humans, they are gonna start eating people and sh!t like that...But I dunno about you but I dont believe that sh!t at all its just that people are afraid of change thats all [-_-] oh and btw wormwood is like a kind of plant that makes water really really bitter, thats why its called star wormwood...And I didnt put too much detail in that and some of the stuff mig be wrong so if you really wanna know, just google it :P always works

Basically the Ancient Civilization Mayans predicted it. Ther calender finishes on 21st December 2012. Some interprit there philosophy as the world will come to an entire end OR only few people will survive and to survive you will have to farm the land.

Nobody knows if it's true- we don't have Crystal balls but I definitely believe the end is near. Think about it, we are ruining the earth will all our pollution it has to give sooner or later now, a hundred years, 50 years but it will happen soon.

The Mayans did NOT predict the end of the world. Their calendar simply ENDS there.

That's like saying the world will end December 31st... EVERY YEAR, because that's where OUR calendar ends...
