Should I dump my boyfriend if he doesn't get me a gift?

I want to get my boyfriend a x'mas present rite? but what if he doesnt get me anything in return? should I dump him?

I doubt he wouldnt get you anything.. Ask him what he wants for christmas! And see what he says.. You will get an idea about whether or not he is getting you anything for christmas..! Also dont dump him over something like that.. Most guys arnt so good about getting girls presents.. so be easy on him.

Doesn't that seem a little shallow- dumping him for not getting you a gift? I'm sure he will, but still... relationships mean a bit more than receiving gifts, or at least I'd like to think so.

OF COURSE YOU DUMP HIM!! im in the same situation and I bought my boyfriend presents including diamond earrings, leather jackets, enough of clothes to wear something different everyday for the next year, and so on. He told me today dont get mad but im not getting you anything. and he was very very serious. im waiting until xmas, if I dont get anything he can kiss my a$$ its OVER. im too materialistic. I already sucked up the fact that I've been paying for dinners, dates, and so on. so he BETTER get me something. not to mention I pay our rent, bills, AND all expenses. no gift= no relationship.
