What happens when someone deletes their account on here?

My daughter(left) and her cousin Asked by miomiomio about 1 year ago, 1 answer.

I mean, are there questions/advice deleted? Or are they just not allowed to use the site anymore? How do you know that they do not just create another member peofile with a different e-mail?

If their questions/advice was legitimate then I think it gets sent to the 'fau' or 'FunAdvice' account if I'm not mistaken. If not, then it all gets deleted. Once someone REQUESTS their account to be deleted, if they in the future do decide to come back they just sign up again. BUT if their account gets deleted because they were consistantly going against the rules, they aren't welcome back here.

Good question... each computer has its own IP address, a lot of the times when a user is kicked off the site for not following the rules, that IP address does get blocked. Basically because if the user wasn't respectful in the first place, they aren't going to come back and be nice.

I hope that answers your questions.
