I believe that God is a very righteous diety, one that loves his creation very much, and I trust his decision completely. Whatever happens, I belive will be very fair, and just.

However, being Christian, I put my whole empathis on what Jesus did for me. I was baptised, but, I believe my salvation comes from Christ.

I do, try to serve him with a whole heart, but, again, I do not trust in my own power to get me to heaven, I trust in what has already been done for me.

I think that everyone will be judged by the light that they have received.

According to Christian teachings, dead people waited in a sort of limbo until Jesus' death and resurrection, which supposedly opened up heaven. The dead souls before Jesus' time were not in a bad place; supposedly they just had to wait. I think that whole belief is utter nonsense and completely fabricated by people's wishful thinking over the centuries. I do, however, think there might be a chance we go on somehow. want to know the real truth? NOBODY KNOWS. They just think they do.

The dead before Christ's time were not in a bad place, just in some sort of waiting place. I personally think that's just one of a million stories totally fabricated by people's wishful thinking over the centuries. Want the REAL truth? NOBODY KNOWS. But some think they do. I hope we go on and I think we might in some way, but I repeat, nobody really knows.

No it doesn't. the concept of original sin is not found anywhere in the Bible, nor does the Bible claim Baptism results in the forgiveness of sin. Biblically, Baptism is a showing of commitment to repent. (Luke 3:3)

God judges everyonwe individualy. Yes it is best that you get baptiased but if you know you are suppose to but let time passes you by or let say some freak accident occurs then God will judge you base on your life and the relationship you had with him.

I think the original question was asked about the people before Christ. How was Moses or David a Christian? were they baptized? and if not, did they still make it to heaven? That’s the question right?
I believe many of the answers given speak volumes of truth. God is the God of love. He is the ultimate decider in what happens in al things and He is fair. That being said, we are asked to do some things while here on this earth and the request was sort of a way to guide us. baptism is one of those things. In a Christians life a baptism is an important part of dedication of ones self casting off the old and putting on the new. If you die before you get baptized will you go to hell? I don't think tat s how it works... we were asked to guide our tongs carefully and not to say foul things, but if you shout profanity right before a bus hits you and you die are you going to hell? God is the judge and no number of rules or men’s opinions can change what is true and what is good.

This is a complex Question but We all need to be Baptised but not by sprinkling The word Baptise means to be imersed to be put all the way under the water and it must be done by someone who holds the priesthood of Aaron the Aaronic priesthood some times known as the levitical Priesthood. We are Baptised to rid ourselves of our own sins. The Lord Jesus Christ Paid for the original sin of Adam and for all our sins if we repent of them and do them no more. Yes as Jesus told Nicodemus in John 3 you must be Baptised. and the next step is to receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost. This is also done by the laying on of hand by one having authority or the Melchisidic priesthood. okay this takes care of you now for the others.

Infants who were born before the age of accontibility which is 8 year old have no need of baptism and will be saved in the highest kingdom of God

For those who died without the law it tell us in first Peter verse 6 that the Gospel was preached to the Dead That they might be Judged according to men in the flesh and it tells us in first Corinthians 15; 29 says that Baptisms were performed for the dead.
this is why we in the Mormon Church seek out our dead ansestors and build temples and do these sacred ordinances by proxy for people that couldn't do it for themselves. Thus the Lord great plan of salvation covers all mankind none will be lost. thanks

Baptism is not the way to heaven. Jesus is. He's the WAY, the Truth, and the Life. If salvation were based on baptism then that would mean that we receive salvation through works (us getting baptized would be us doing a work), but Ephesians 2:8 tells me that we are saved by GRACE, and not that of ourselves or any works. Because of grace, all we have to do is confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead and we'll be saved (Romans 10:9-10), That scripture also goes on to say that whoever calls upon the name of the Lord, he will be saved. Also, Acts 4:12 says that there is salvation in no one else [or anything else] but Jesus. If these people were serving God faithfully then yes they are in heaven because that is what is promised to us.

Of course in order to be obedient to God, we also need to be baptized; but this is NOT the way to heaven or salvation. Some people think once they are baptized, they are guaranteed entrance to heaven, but sadly there are plenty of people now residing in hell who have been baptized. You have to have Christ to make it. Hope I helped!
