What happened??

ok at the top of my screen it says questions and then in quotes (459) and the same with advice it says it like this (50) and my photos in parenthesis next to it it says (2) heres exactly what it looks like:

What is going on!? I havnt asked 459 questions and I've given almost 1000 advice not 50 and have more than 2 photos! when I went to see my asked questions there was a big red NEW and under my pics it said NEW...what happened? could somebody please explain to me what happened and what does all the new stuff mean and how do I use it?

It's a new feature, and if you're just logging on since it was implemented, it's going to be wrong.

Click on the links then click mark all viewed to clear the list then it should be working properly after that.

I don't like it.

So all this new stuff is wrong, and we all just have to hopefully stumble upon this answer to fix it? Shouldn't we get a bulk email msg if you are a member explaining changes and what they are etc..?
