Sugaring is near the same process as waxing where cloth strips and an adhesive are used to pull out the hair at the root, thereby making the skin smoother for longer. Sugaring uses a product that does not need to be heated like wax does. Some people believe that the heat from hot wax treatments can burn the skin and cause more damage than sugaring. However, sugaring doesn't always get everything in one pass, and may require a repeated pass if the sugaring wax does not get reapplied to epilated skin.
If your skin is not that sensitive go with wax. If it is, go with the sugaring (and go with a pro the first time to make sure you don't hurt yourself).
