Champions are willing to do the things they dislike to create something they do like. Don't let the things that matter most be at the mercy of the things that matter least.

different people will interpret it differently, but I see it as meaning in order to win (or be a champion) you have to do things you don't want to, to earn the right to do something you do want to and not to let not wanting to do something stop you from doing what you want. For example if your mom tells you to clean your room or you can't go to the movies then you're going to have to do something you don't want to do(clean your room)to be able to do what you do want to do(go to the movies). And don't be stuborn and not do it (let the things that matter most be at the mercy of what matters the least) Hope I helped?

I think it means that if you have to do something small you dont like to get something bigger you do like then you should do it to become a champion ?
