What does it mean when certain questions are closed?

I'm curious, whenever I come apon a question on certain days I'm on here, it'll say it's closed. What does that mean?
I'm just wondering. Last night, I answered someone's questions regarding growth and when I checked my advice, the questions are closed...

and the funadvice robot has the questions. I noticed the user must of been underaged and I was just wondering why the questions are closed.
I'm not trying to judge anyone or anything. But, I'm just curious.

It means that either:

The question is getting out of hand...users are arguing and insulting each other within or answers are completely off topic
It has broken the TOU of Funadvice
The asker is underaged
When other members see a locked question they'll have a reference as what not to post

 
Closed is just the new jargon for Locked. When an Admin or Advisor Locks a question, it used to say This Question is Locked. The programmers changed it to say Closed.

Questions are locked/closed when the answers start getting out of control or when the question might be a little improper.

When the poster of a Question or Answer is listed as funadvice it means that that poster has had their account deleted for some reason and all their questions and answers are now under the funadvice username.
