What does css stand for, I know it's a computer acronym

I've read the term CSS a few times, what does that stand for? It's a computer acronym, something to do with HTML, right?

CSS stands for cascading style sheets, which are typically used in conjunction with XHTML 1.0, the latest spec from the World Wide Web Consortium, the standards organization that makes recommendations on internet protocols & things.

CSS has been around since 1996, and only in the last few years has become more mainstream.

Dang, I totally thought it stood for 'Clam Steamer Soup'. I will stop ordering CSS at the restaurants now because I know what the funny looks are for.
