What does a purging anorexic mean ?

Because surely purging means making yourself sick
But anorexic is like
Not eating food the proper way

Im confused and someone asked me what it meant
So yeah
Can someone tell me ?

It means some one who doesn't eat most of the time, but sometimes gives into eating, and when they do, they throw everything back up, hence 'purging anorexic'

yeah, it's eating rarely ever-almost to the point of anorexia-then when they do eat, they throw up. sort of a bulimia/anorexia combination.

it usually means that whenever they do eat...even tiny amounts...they throw it up.
although 'purging' can mean any form of 'getting rid' of the food.
which also covers laxatives, enemas, diuretics, over-excercise, drugs/pills.

just so you know purging means getting rid of unwanted things but close enough.
