What do you think of such a pact ?

GLOUCESTER, Mass. - A pact was made by a group of teens to get pregnant and raise their babies together - none older than 16 - The girls confessed to making the pact after the school began investigating a rise in pregnancies that has left 17 girls at the school carrying a child. Normally, there are about four pregnancies a year at the school - What do you think of such a pact ?

I think that pact was pure stupidity. I mean why would you commit yourself to such a group. Honestly. I think that was pretty stupid of them to do that.

There is no rational explanation for doing such idiocy.

I saw that on the news earlier today.

It's their life, if they want to be stupid and ruin it... thats their perogative.

It doesnt make sense to do that. I dont see any logic in the situation or a reason to do it. Were those girls interviewed? Did they give a reason for that?

Also the boys are getting in trouble. Some of them are in their 20's.

its there lives and they should be allowed to do whatever they please without the media/school getting involved in it, and for like everyone above me, its not ruining there lives if thats what THEY really want to do

of course its stupid, but some poeple know no better
those are people who probably have nothing better to do, want, money, want attention, and need to beel loved, or need to share there love with there baby
and dont know exactluy how it will effect and change there lives, majority of those kids just do it, without thinking of the consequences...id say its wrong
but its there life, and doesnt affect mine
however those people and everyone else need much better education about these sorts of things
generally sex ed at school doesnt teach you the important FACTS about all of this

Sex education, info about birth control, female awareness and pride classes, and parents that try to know what is going on with their kids.
We have a class in my city where 9th graders are given a baby doll, life size and weight, implanted computer chip that programs crying, etc. each person in the class must care for them for 2 weeks. The 'baby' is programmed to cry (loudly) during the nite and not to stop for hours. the kids must take the baby with them everywhere and they never know when it will cry. so, if you are at the movies and it starts, you must leave. etc.
a very good program. it doesn't seem quite as much fun when you are living it.

it is obsured!! who would want to give up something so special for a pact and life of caring for a baby and not being able to enjoy being free and doing whtever you want!!
