What do you think about uggs?

Every girl in my class says that they're against animal skin... Yet they all have uggs! Those are made out of sheep skin! I just don't get it... I love animals, and I don't care how comfortable uggs are--I'm never going to wear them.

What do you...

think about it?

Maybe they just mean wild animal skin...?? Have you pointed this hypocrasy out??

I personaly don't like them because I think they are ugly it has nothing to do with what they are made of.

Have you pointed this out to the girls. It seems that being against animal skins is a trend lately, and people dont' realize how much of their stuff is actually animal skin in the first place.

There is no cruelty to the Sheep. They use either the skin or fur they shed, or whatever is left from when they die. I love Ugg boots, but I cannot afford them, the knockoff uggs work for me, and they have absolutly no traces of sheep.

I personally have the reaal uggs. if you r really against uggs get the cheap kind. they have no trace of animal fur

Shearing the sheep doesn't do them any harm, it actually helps them, makes them healthier. So I think that'd be alright.

a lot of girls still dont think things through
and come off as ditsy
especially if they say they hate animal skin, but wear uggboots
or are a vegetarian, but eat fish, ect
most of them dont even know that there shoes and belts are made from leather...cow skin
personally I think there comfortable, sheeps wool is very comfortable
but they need sheep skin to make uggboots
and that doesnt come off from shearing it
so unfortunatly they do die. but the skin is a by-product
which means the sheep isnt killed just to make ugg boots
its killed for its meat and the skin gets sold to make them
