What do you think about emo

Why do all people think emos are creepy . And that they cry all the time and cut themselves and are always depressed .. Cause its not true!! People say I am emo and I dont do any of that and I have emo friends that dont do that. And we all do worship...

Answer to that is because people are f*ckin idiots. You are right - emos are NOT creepy, they're NOT depressed 24/7 and just because your an emo DOESN'T mean you have to cut yourself. And as for worshipping the devil, well whoever says that is REALLY f*ckin stupid. Just because your a freak/goth/emo DOESN'T mean your evil. There ARE goths/emos/freaks who believe in God. Don't believe all the f*cked up lies/rumors people say... be you and NEVER change just to impress people. =]

Emos are cool but people only judge you guys because they have nothing better to do (tell them!)

for me I see emo as a style, like a style of clothing! (punk, skater, prep, gangster..ect) but some people define emos as - emotional people... wich are true for some but not all!!... cause some people just like to be emo for the clothing, and I have a several friends like that! it's what xxjosh_cries_in_his_cornerxx has said, it's a steriotypical type of thing!

Emo is a type of music.
not a type of person.
It doesnt mold you into the person you are,and it doesnt make you good,or bad.
Emo is a type of music,short for emotional,and it ranged in a series of bands,like Taking Back Sunday,for example.

It angers me when people walk around labeling themselves,calling themselves emo.Thats like,if I walked around,calling myself classic rock..it just doesnt make sense.

Emo has adopted its own Style,but that still oesnt classify anyone as emo.

I think their awesome I have gothic friends. I was gothic at once myself. But I would get the same thing to that O you cut yourself and believe in the devil! people are just stupid and prejudice! don't pay them mind!

Everyone at my school thinks I'm emo, I don't consider myself emo only cause I don't stereotype myself as anything. Everyone has their own style and people (like preps)need to get over the fact that not all people are stuck up and b*tchy(not saying all are, but most) I think emos rock! and people need to stop judging them by appearence. The whole cutting sh*t is driving me crazy. And also emos CAN be happy too. People are just jealous cause emos don't care what people think while everyone else's world revolves around what's cool and in.

I know this is hard to believe but I am a black girl and I think emos (and goths) are pretty cool (and hot). I adore their style and their eccentric look. I don't think of them as being creeps or freaks either. I love you all!

OMG emos are cool people (mostly) that are not affrad (I cant spell soz) to show who they are and no that they will be judged by some because of it !!
I really respect them for it and think that the people that think that emos are deppressed cutters are just well stupid most of them dont no any emos and are just saying what they think is right when if they actually tuck some time to get to no the people instead of the image they might learn somthing!!! lol :D

I think emo people are empty shells of people. Not because they are emotional or because some cut themselves.

It's because it's just a fad and people do it to be different yet want to belong to a group, like saying I am not like anyone else and there's millions just like me!. if you want to be different, be yourself. I see so many people conforming to the emo stereotype just to belong, I don't know any that really believe they are emo, it's just the new cool thing.

So very few emo's even like the music style, it's just an excuse to be a stereotype. My Chemical Romance, Panic at the Disco and loads of other bands are listened to by emo's but they don't consider themselves emo and have been quoted saying the emo movement is bullshit.

Wake up and be yourselves.

I think people don't like emo's basically because there different...I personally think being emo is depressing, I think its the black clothing, and basically..they need mental help. but I'm also truly sorry if I hurt anyone by saying that...but thats just my personal feelings...but I do think a lot of people don't like 'em because there different

I'm not an emo but have been called one, personally I have no problem with them, but some people do it's weird.

Some emos do slit (I know a few) but they have a reason for it and will deal with it eventually. I don't have a problem with them, there all pretty nice people
