What do you prefer: romance or action movies?

So, I'm writing a humorous persuasive essay on romance vs. action movies. I want to know what you perfer and why.

*If you pick romance movies: thank you and you don't need to answer anything else.

**If you pick action there's a few more questions:
- If your date wanted to watch a romance movie what would you do?
- Would you be kind of mad, irritated, etc. while watching it? Or how would you react?

I guess I am mostly into action movies, as most of us males would be, I just enjoy swords and gunfights, and war flicks.
if my date wanted to go to a romance movie- I would definately oblige her, romance movie in the theatre- leads to 'romance' later on.
and I hate to admit this- but sometimes a romance movie can teach us something new that can help us have a better relationship with our date.

lol..well...if you wanted to watch an action movie ON your DATE...thats pretty STUPID!(unless you both agree on action*coughs*...hehhe*shifty eyes*)...because like a date is meant to be ROMANTIC!!...dont ruin your date^^

Both, depends on my mood. I normally go for comedy though.

Action* No I wouldn't get mad at my boyfriend if he wanted to watch a romance movie. I like action movies VS romance because romance is the same every time either they get together at the end or someone dies. Actions movies normally both happens, someone gets together and someone dies. Things blow up in action movies. Romance movies take place in like apartments and houses and the beach, not too exciting. Romance movies portray women as desperate and normally revolve around ONE guy being the prize to win.

It depends if me and my date are alone then romantic but if it's like at a movie theatre or with other people then action.
