its still an island it just has a bridge!
I think it has a word for it... think! like an 'Isolated Land'(LIKE ON CASTLE TIME)he4...
it's NOT an Island anymore...because you can WALK TO IT!
A pennisula?
I don't think a bridge connecting an island really constitutes that though.
A pennisula is like what Florida is.

It doesn't matter if there's a bridge, it's still an island.
yea if its surrounded by water on 3 sides its a penninsula but if all of it is surrounded by water its still an island...bridge or not
Wiki Definition of island says --> and isolated from other significant landmasses
BUT This is not Isolated as you can Walk to it from a Significant landmass, thus No Longer 'Island' status
Island means COMPLETELY Surrounded by water... SO, unless you can Walk on water...then it is not COMPLETLEY Surrounded by water...??? IT is NOT an ISLAND >>>
if there is a tree on a significant landmass and I can swing from the rope and land onto this so called 'island' then maybe it is an island.. BUT, I can walk to it on a BRIDGE>>>THus not an ISLAND???
it is
an island. that has a bridge.
if you have such a huge problem with this bridge, then just...
wake up at 3 am, and blow it up.
then it will be an island.
becasuse there is no bridge.
but I wonder.
if the bridge is blocked off at one end. so you technically CANT just walk to this 'piece of land', then what is it? is it an island?

What do you call this piece of land?
What do you call a piece of land that is completely surround by water BUT it is connected to a lager body of land. Specifically where it was an ISLAND BUT now that a Man-made bridge has been built, this previous 'island' status is now connected to land, SO, this means it is now no longer an Island. A new word should exisit for this and I want to know what it is?
