What do italian homes look like on the inside??

What do italian homes look like on the inside?
do they have huge kitchens and TV's and bathrooms like us?
for some odd reason (not to offend anyone) I just imagine them living without a tv or a computer and having a really small home.
if you are from...

italy can you tell me what the houses were like?
are they any different from the ones in the USA?

welll im not quite sure but in my italian class my teacher told us that their homes are very cold not as homie and cozyy as amercian homes
so I guess not very cozy
