What do I do if I just blew my ear out?

I just stretched my ears the other day, and I went to clean my plugs today, and when it took one out, there was blood. I have a small tear in my ear. It was 4 months since the last time I stretched so it isnt because I did it too fast, or because I used silicone, or another material you arent suppose to stretch with. Almost everyone who stretched there ears get a blow out at some time and this is my first. So far I’ve taken the plug out, cleaned my ear and downsized my plug back to 5/8 (16 mm). Anything else I should be doing? tips?

Did your ear actually split? id go into your piercer and talk to them cause they know way better then any of us. you did the right thing though by downsizing. wish I could help more but like I said just go talk to a piercer and ask them what you should do =]

hey there isnt really much else you can do other than down size it slighly… it should heal on its own… if you are still worried about it in about a months time go to your local piercing shop and see what they say :) also because it split… I would keep cleaning it with anti-bacterial cream/gel… just to be on the safe side
