What should I do about my high fever?

DO NOT TAKE A COLD SHOWER, make it cool or luke warm at this high of a temperature, cold water could send your body into shock! Do not freak out, though this may be hard right now, but panic may elevate your temperature Can you take any ibiprofen, advill, tylonol, ect? The body elevates its own temperature to help fight off infections, bacteria, viruses and more this is usually a harmless yet pesky response However, with this high of a temperature, it can be harmfull, call 911 imediately REMAIN CALM

And remember always call 911 if: you have a temperature of 102 or higher you vomit blood or have bloody stools (poop/diarea) you are experiencing shaking or seizures accompanied by the fever your fever does not respond to medication

Get help, or in severe cases call 911 if: you have any unusual symptoms or symptoms that can not be explained fever does not respond to medication for some people with certain medical conditions fever can be harmful if not deadly

ps call 911 if the above symptoms occur in someone you know, keep them cool, not cold! this could sve someones life
