What do I do for my birthday??? Cut a long story short I did have plans, and well they got real messed up by some friends so now with just over a week till I'm 18 I have know idea what to do and I live an hour from any decent place???

Go the extra mile. Drive an hour to that decent place. Your friends will appreciate it. Get ice cream--or go to a concert. Do something that your parents will approve of. Believe me, parents remember the big "18."
