How can i stop being dependent on my close guy friend?

i am currently attached to one of my really good guy friends. we act like we're going out, but we're not simply because i am not into him THAT much. but we do everything together, i don't even have any good girl friends anymore because I've been hanging...

out with this guy for soo long and a lot now. i started to realize its beginning to get difficult to meet guys having this close friend, so i decided to not have him around that much anymore, but i don't have any girl friends now. will it be weird if i go to the mall or wherever alone? i mean its like i want to hang out with someone, but i want to meet guys too, and i don't have any girl friends anymore because of how ive been so dependent on my guy friend the past 2 years of my life. I finally got happy that i told him we should be a little more distant, he got irritated but said okay, but now i want to hang out with someone... this sucks. should i just go back to hanging out with him all the time?

well... that is one option. what i would do is hang with the person you feel most compferble with. with you like hanging out with him then go ahead. Don't let rumors or anything else bother you. It's good to have a lot of friends, but you can't do that if you make enemys right away. Good luck!

Don't make him your all the time hangout kid, but when you wanna hangout go for it. Don't let stupid things get in the way, just make sure people know you're not dating. It's fine to have a guy best friend, lots of women do. Jus try to find some girls friends to chill with as well so you can meet men.Good Luck.

Yes, it's okay to do things alone sometimes. I go to the mall alone all the time, not because I don't have friends, but sometimes it's my only option. Get out do things that you like to do, even if it is by yourself. Often times you'll find new friends that way. Good luck!

but anyway i think that you should keep hanging out wiv him if you feel that it is the right thing to do and if u feel comfortable wiv him =] thats wat i decided to do...[but unfortunately we ended going out in the end]
