Is he mad at me for not liking him back?

there is this boy thats in one of my classes and he asked me out but i told him no he not ugly im just not ready to go out with anyboys right now. but now im afraid to be in contact with him because i dont know if he is mad at me. he doesnt say anything...

to me he just looks at me and stares. i dont talk to him much what do i do im confused.

ok...I think hes just hurt cause you didn't go out with him, but he has to accept it because you wont go out with someone when you don't wanna go out with anybody...it really doesn't make him that special. Next, if you truly care about his friendship, then just act like nothing happened and maybe start a conversation with something simple like...do you have a pencil I can borrow? or could I have some paper? you know simple things like that, and when you actually get a conversation started, explain to him what the real reason was and that if you said no to him, you most likely will say no to other guys...its just that simple, and if doesn't wanna understand that...I think thats his problem...
