What determines the direction of your bellybutton? Innies and Outies. Is it from the umbilical cord or gas pressure?

It's the way that the doctor trims it when the baby is born that determines the shape...those with more experience will do it better, but a less experienced or third world pediatrician might end up giving somebody an 'outie' for a bellybutton.

well it also is to do if you are like me and was a premie and was on I've..and lots of meds the I've is put through the belly button so that couses an 'outie' lol I have one and well I dont like it but it also has to do with DNA if someone in your family has one you can get it...there are lots of ways to get one lol
