I've been wanting to change my hairstyle for a while now.. But I'm not sure what to do with it. What do you lot think? Darker or lighter? Streaks? Layers?..
I think you should look at your favorite wardrobe colors before dying your hair. The neutrals in your wardrobe are always determined by your haircolor. For example, if you dye your hair black, you move your color choices more into the black and grey and white colors. Red gives you more brown and russet neutrals. Brown gives you brown and tan.
Your natural haircolor will always give you a wider range of neutrals to wear since it's seldom all one shade or color. But if you want to dye it, just consider what clothes you will be able to coordinate with the new color.
Hope this helps.

If your hair color is the same as your pic. I think that hair color is gorgeous. Cosmetology is my profession so I will give you my best advice. I love the color you currently have, although if you added some lighter streaks maybe a little blonde and then add streaks with a light golden brown or caramel color for texture it would add a panneling effect which is very popular right now. If the panneling does not add enough texture for you then you could try some razored layers.
I think your hair cut is very cute! Not everyone can pull of a haircut like that. As far as dying your hair, I would go darker... maybe like a chocolate brown or a brown black. Maybe you can put chunks of colors under layers? If you don't have layers it wouldn't hurt to put some in there.
yeah cut your hair shorter and layered then on some of the layers dye them a lighter shade of what your hair is right now.
