A golden type colour or blond, depending on the colour of your eyes. If you have dark eyes I'd go for a golden, if you have light coloured eyes, go for a blond shade.

I agree with the above, but somehow I dont think highlights are worth it at all. You're given the hair color you have because it looks beautiful on you, and highlights are just going to make it worse. They can make you look ugly in many cases (no offense intended at all!!!) and they totally kill and damage your hair.
