What can we do to make it easier?

Okay, my girlfriend and I have been together for nearly 9months now and we have been talkin about having our first time together for about 3 months. We have tried once or twice but its hard to actualy get it in with it being such a tight hole, I was wandering if you could tell me the best way to make it easier to get it in. Lots of lube and foreplay. Try fingering her for a while starting with one finger then gradually adding fingers. it'll help stretch her so sex won't be as painful.
