What can straighten naturally curly hair?

Okay, so my hair is curly as hell, and even though I love it and random old women give me compliments on it a lot (I guess it was the style back then?), my friends wont shut up about how they really want to see what it would look like if it were...

normal, so I need to know the brand of hair straightener that would work, because my friends tried it on me once when I was asleep and because it was so crappy it just made my hair poof up and I looked like I just escaped a mental institution. So please tell me so theyll stop nagging me about! Thanks Im 13 btw I don't know if that has anything to do with it tho haha..

Hey I had absolutely the same dilemma!! my hair is a curly frizz ball and then my sister got me this hair straightener. Its bed head and it works well. If you are going to perfection CHI brand is def the best. You have to put some kind of product in there as well. I use Moroccan oil. you only need like a dime size amount and it protects your hair and keeps out the frizz!! I love it. Bed head products are around 60 or so and CHI are in the hundreds. if you are going to use it every day or every other I would go with the CHI.

I have the same problem. my hair is really curly and frizzy.
just about everyday, I use the remingston wet2dry straightener. it's not one of those really thin ones, so it works really good.
some tricks to get it really straight are- be patient, rushing through it won't get the job done; and use some spray that keeps your hair from frizzing.
