What can I use to make black people hair grow faster?

Answer #1

Doo gro hair oil works really well! I’ve only been using it for about two months and my hair has grown about 5 inches! Its found at all stores that carry hair products and it about 6 dollars a bottle!

Answer #2

uhm black womens hair doesn’t grow slow, its just usually the other end is breaking off when the new growth is coming in, I’d say get a good hair dresser and make sure to get ur ends trimmed as often as needed, to prevent breakage…thats the key! Also keeping ur hair braided seems to help as well

First thing you should realize is that ALL types of hair grows at the same rate. African american hair just loses moisture at a faster rate, because of it’s nature and because we tend to use different types of chemicals that strip the protein and nutrients from our hair without replacing them. This causes our hair to break. While your hair is permed you should be deep treating it at least once a week. Treatments replace nutrients that your hair desperately need to stay healthy. Once new growth starts to come in, DO NOT PERM YOUR HAIR. You need to give your hair at least 2-3 month relief from chemical damage. You don’t want your hair to lose it’s natural PH balance. I suggest you either braid your hair or get a full head sewed in weave. When your new growth starts to come in, your hair is at it’s weakest point. This is because the new growth is too coarse to hold the soft permed hair. So I definitely suggest braiding it at this point. Now while your hair is not permed, your hair should be washed and deep treated at least once a month. Nexxus is a wonderful line of products to use. There’s a product for all hair types. They use a time released technology that gradually distributes nutrients and proteins through the hair strands and to the scalp. Great hair products. I have a routine with my own hair. Before washing my hair I put coconut oil and carrot oil in my hair to moisturize. Leave it in as long as I want. I wash my hair with nexxus botanical treatment shampoo. I deep treat my hair with Motions deep treatment. Leave that in for 15 min. I wash that out, and put nexxus treatment conditioner in my hair. After washing and towel drying my hair, I put a leave in treatment in my hair. Then I blow dry. If your going to apply heat to your hair you must use some kind of thermal protection. Heat ( blow dryers, curling irons, hot combs, Etc.) will damage your hair. Coloring your hair will also damage your hair. Treatments moisturize and help reverse damage to your hair. other good product lines to use are: Aphogee, Mizani, Motions, Dudleys, and profectiv. Vitamins that allow your hair to grow are Vitamins A,B12,C and biotin (there are more but these are the most important) Hair formula 37 is perfect if you prefer this method to growing your hair. Trust me girl. A year ago I was practically bald, now my hair is thick, full and almost to the middle of my back. Good luck!!

The key to black hair growth is moisture. Because the hair is curly, it is difficult for natural oils and moisture, needed for hair growth, to travel from the hair follicle, to the strand and ends. An essential fatty acid supplement, such as Omega 6, or Flax Oil, can help give the hair moisture it needs to not break, not split, and grow longer.

But, remember, hair growth requires more than vitamins. Hair growth is also stunted for black women because they use chemicals on their hair, whether from relaxers or personal care products, that only give their hair more dryness and cause it to be brittle and split. Black women should use natural products; i.e. Beauty 4 Ashes Super Gro products, which are all natural and contain hair growth stimulating herbs, or Aubrey Organics, which, although not made for black hair, can help black women’s hair porosity and protein.

Eat more protein, such as fish, nuts, soy, beans, and dark greens. Limit the use of heat on your hair. Do not overprocess your relaxers. Do not use brushes or combs with hard line breaks. Style your hair with no spritz or gel. And, don’t cut your hair!

Answer #5

try not to relax hair as often or go all natural. You can try using a lace front wig from www.pinklacewigs.com . Using the wig will give you hair extra time to relax with out the heat and processing.

Answer #6

Look I know they say relaxer are bad for your hair but we all know that if we do not use them how kinky our hair can get. I do relax my hair and I do not over process it. I know we all do not have time for this but instead of blow drying you hair. Comb through it with a wide tooth comb and pull it back into a tigh pony tail(if you have enough for that)Do not use a rubber band! Use a something with a coating over top of the elastic part. And let it air dry. Once your hair is completly dry you may use a flat iron or curling iron. But use Extra Virgin Olive oil(yes ladies the one used for cooking) it gives you hair shine and replenishes it. Try it! Trust me.

Answer #7

Eat a balanced amount of protein every day. Protein is essential for healthy hair growth. Just make sure you eat the right amount. And try using some Natural hair growth products like Reloxe . www.reloxe.com
